Refund Policy

Last updated: June 2026 · Fair terms for digital goods

Short version: Beat leases are digital goods — once downloaded, they're yours and we can't take them back, so refunds aren't offered on delivered files. Mastering has a revision round built in. Custom production deposits are non-refundable once work begins. We will always try to make things right before refusing a refund request.

Beat Licensing — No Refund Policy

All beat licence purchases are for digital downloadable products. Once a file has been accessed, downloaded, or delivered to you, we are unable to offer a refund. This is consistent with standard practice for digital goods under Indian consumer protection law.

However, we will consider a refund or replacement in the following circumstances:

  • The file delivered was corrupted or unplayable and could not be replaced
  • The beat was materially mislabelled (e.g., wrong BPM or key that significantly differs from what was listed)
  • A duplicate charge occurred due to a technical error
  • You were charged but the file was never delivered

To request a refund under these circumstances, contact us within 7 days of purchase with your order confirmation and a description of the issue.

Exclusive Rights Purchases

Exclusive rights purchases are final. Once an exclusive licence is issued and the beat is removed from the store, no refund is available. Please listen carefully to the full preview before purchasing exclusive rights.

Mastering Services

Mastering services include one revision round at no additional charge. If after the revision you remain unsatisfied with the delivery:

  • Contact us before taking any other action — most issues are resolved at this stage
  • If a master is not delivered within the agreed timeframe (48 hours standard, 24 hours rush) and no extension was mutually agreed, you are entitled to a full refund
  • Refunds are not available on mastering services that have been completed and delivered, if the reason for dissatisfaction is subjective preference rather than a technical failure

Custom Production

Custom production projects are scoped and quoted individually. The following terms apply:

  • A 50% deposit is required to begin work. This deposit is non-refundable once active production has started
  • If you cancel before any work has begun, the full deposit will be refunded
  • The remaining 50% balance is due upon final delivery of stems/files
  • Revision rounds are agreed as part of the project scope. Additional revisions beyond scope may be charged separately

Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us is a violation of these terms. We retain records of all deliveries and will provide evidence to your bank or payment provider in the event of a chargeback. Chargebacks on delivered digital goods may result in your being blocked from future purchases.

How to Request a Refund

  • Your order number or purchase confirmation email
  • The product purchased
  • A clear description of the issue

We aim to respond within 48 hours and resolve all disputes fairly and quickly.
